Following last year’s success, L’ÉPOQUE magazine’s publishers, the Nereides de Bourbon Group, collaborated once again with Olive Villa Rentals to select the ideal venue for the 2024 VILLA L’ÉPOQUE event out of Olive’s rich portfolio of handpicked luxury properties.
The illustrious gathering took place on September 17th, one day before the 5th Who Is Who International Awards Gala. It was the perfect prelude to the esteemed ceremony, honoring people who stand out for their contribution to human progress in fields like politics, science, art, etc. As the official partner of L’ÉPOQUE in Greece, Olive Villa Rentals played a key role in hosting the exclusive pre-event, creating an inspiring backdrop for international guests to have fun, network, and enjoy meaningful conversations.
This year, that backdrop was Olive’s Villa Tiara, a unique luxury property overlooking the deep Saronic blue from an idyllic spot in the rejuvenated Athenian Riviera.
The lush 4-level villa became VILLA L’ÉPOQUE for one day, opening its gates to the hosts, Prince Nereides de Bourbon and Lello Ammirati, co-owners and creative minds of the internationally distributed magazine, and their distinguished guests.
Among them were personalities of global eminence like Mr. Yan Lijin, Chairman of China Silk Road Group, and Ms. Wei Manman, Deputy President of DODR Technology, who brought a special gift for their host: a unique painting by the renowned artist Zhao Jing. The present symbolized the harmonious cooperation between the China Silk Road and Nereides de Bourbon Groups.
From the UAE, VILLA L’ÉPOQUE welcomed Dr. Abdullah Belhaif Al Nuami, Former UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment. From Georgia, the country’s ambassador to Greece Levan Beridze, and prima ballerina Irma Nioradze.
Other internationally acclaimed guests included the independent director of the Golden Globes Sharlette Hambrick, Yanna Andronopoulou, General Manager at Microsoft Greece, Cyprus, and Malta, Rana Alnasir-Boulos, Chairperson at Global Women Forum, and Sara Abbas, author and global entrepreneur. Also, the award-winning architect Debbie Flevotomou, the famous Greek soprano Markella Hatziano, Dr. Alessandro Civati, Chairman of LutinX, and Lilly Mandel, international model and actress.
In VILLA L’ÉPOQUE‘s artfully landscaped terrace, the hosts and their guests made the most of the inviting lounging and dining spaces. It was time well spent, whether clinking glasses around the turquoise swimming pool or savoring the exquisite wines, the elevated culinary experiences, and the breathtaking sea views.
But the evening’s grand surprise, a personal gift from the hosts to their guests, was a musical avant-premiere under the Mediterranean moonlight. The Parisian singer Almée (AKA Anne-Christine Caro) adorned the event with a graceful performance of her most captivating songs, some from her latest EP and some from her new still-unreleased album.
