It’s official! Backed by the public’s vote, luxury travelers from all over the globe, and the industry experts’ recognition of our prime quality services, we have won Gold in the “Greece’s Leading Holiday Villa Rental Company” category at the 2025 World Tourism Awards, marking the second time Olive Villa Rentals has received that prestigious accolade since 2023.
The WTA is a globally established institution that has been highlighting and rewarding excellence and innovation across all industry sectors on every continent since 1993. The organization’s annual award ceremonies are widely regarded as the best networking opportunities in the travel industry, attended by leading players and international media.
This year, the much-anticipated WTA Europe Gala Ceremony was held on October 22 at the magnificent Forte Village Resort in Sardinia, Italy, gathering prominent and up-and-coming industry professionals from “all walks of luxury tourism” for an evening of networking and celebration.
It was an utterly unforgettable black-tie event where smiles were abundant, looks were bedazzling, and flashes never stopped flashing, yet photographs only tell half the story.
Among bright lights, glamorous appearances, impactful personalities, and premium treats, what stood out eventually was the resounding acknowledgement of the nominees’ hard work and contribution to creating better and truly elevated luxury hospitality experiences.
That’s another significant reason to be excited — besides winning such a prized international distinction, of course. It’s the realization that we won by establishing a leading presence as premium destination and high-end hospitality experts in a flourishing market populated by some really powerful competitors, the cream of the crop in Greek luxury travel.
The award was presented to our founders, Nikos Anastasopoulos and Michalis Folas, who commented on the win and what it takes to stay on top.
